Police arrest No. 1 most wanted person in Muntinlupa 


The Muntinlupa police arrested the No. 1 most wanted person in the city for the third quarter of the year on Tuesday, Aug. 16.

Albert Perez Jamili, 39, a driver, was arrested by the police in Alabang, Muntinlupa at about 5:30 p.m.

Personnel from the police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section served a warrant of arrest on Jamili who is facing three counts of rape and five counts of sexual assault.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Presiding Judge Philip Acosta Aguinaldo of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 207 based on Criminal Case Nos. 22-984 to 22-991 dated Aug. 10 with no bail recommended for rape and a total of P1 million for all the sexual assault cases.

Jamili was turned over to the custodial facility of the Muntinlupa police pending the issuance of a commitment order from the court.

"We have to continue and strengthen our manhunt operations to hunt down all offenders sought by law for them to answer for the crimes they committed,” said Col. Kirby John Kraft, acting director of the Southern Police District (SPD).
