The Parañaque Traffic Parking and Management Office (TPMO) said a portion of Ninoy Aquino Avenue will be temporarily closed on Aug. 19 to 22 due to construction of Ninoy Aquino Station of LRT I Cavite Extension Project.
According to the Facebook post of TPMO, northbound and southbound lanes near Imelda Bridge on Ninoy Aquino Ave. will be closed starting 8:00 p.m. on Aug. 19 up to 5:00 a.m. on Aug. 22.
Northbound motorists are advised to turn right to Old Sucat Road (in front of SM Sucat ) on the way to C5 Extension Rd., Multinational, Ninoy Aquino Ave. (Duty Free); and turn left to Kabihasnan (Victor Medina St.), straight to Quirino Ave. or Cavitex Coastal Road.
Southbound motorists are advised to turn left to Multinational, straight to C5 Extension Rd., AMVEL, Ninoy Aquino Ave. (Airforce One/PCP Station 3); or turn left to Multinational C5 Extension Rd. toward Old Sucat Road exit (Headquarters of Brgy. San Dionisio Hall), then take a U-turn at Palanyag; take Quirino Ave. to Kabihasnan (Victor Medina St.) and to Ninoy Aquino Ave.
TPMO head Reynaldo Murillo together with the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) conducted on Tuesday, Aug. 16., an ocular inspection along Ninoy Aquino Ave. in preparation for the implementation of road closure.
