Parañaque inaugurates new school building in time for the opening of F2F classes

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said another high school building was inaugurated on Monday, Aug. 15, as part of the city government's preparation for the opening of face-to-face classes on Aug. 22.

Olivarez said the La Huerta National High School is part of the program of his older brother, 1st District Rep. Edwin Olivarez to provide the 16 barangays in the city with their own elementary and high school buildings.

He said the new high school building is already completed and can now be used by high school students living along La Huerta.

Rep. Olivarez said that during his term as the city mayor, he started the construction of infrastructure projects likes school buildings in the city’s 16 barangays as well as several barangay health centers, lying-in clinics, two city-run hospitals, mass housing projects, and multi-purpose halls.

“We are proud to see the completion of this 4-storey school building with a multi-purpose hall for the use of La Huerta National High School,” Olivarez said.

He added that as congressman, he will continue to deliver similar projects to the city to sustain its rapid growth and development.
