Meralco to implement 5-hour power interruption in Parañaque City


The Parañaque City government announced that a five-hour power interruption will be implemented by the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) on Friday (August 19).

The city government posted on its Facebook page a letter sent by Meralco Parañaque maintenance team leader Erwin Cabarles, announcing that the five-hour power brownout will be implemented starting 11:00 p.m. on Aug. 19 up to 4:00 a.m. on Aug. 20.

According to Cabarles, their crew will conduct upgrading of Meralco facilities along Quirino Avenue in San Dionisio.

The Merlaco will replace rotted crosam pole, and the affected area will be 03600 circuit 42WU.

Mayor Eric Olivarez advised the residents who will be affected by the power interruption to prepare and charge all their gadgets which they can use in case of emergency.
