Another ukay find!

Photographer Shaira Luna got married to Cocoy Aranas last Aug. 12, 2022 at Ilustrado Restaurant Ballroom. "It was transformed into an old-world living room by my good friend, constant collaborator, and set designer Justine Arcega Bumanlag," Shaira tells Manila Bulletin Lifestyle.

A small lunch reception with only three tables consisting of her closest friends, it was still a romantic day for the newlyweds. "We never really planned on getting married or having a wedding celebration, so I just organized it as though I was producing a photo shoot," she adds.

This includes no plans for her wedding look. "I was just going to use one of my vintage dresses, but my friend saw one in an ukay that I though would be cuter," she talks about her choice of dress which they found in a thrift shop in La Union for only P100! It's a textured dress number with ruffled details on the hem, neckline, and torso, with scalloped sleeves.

She also wore a lovely lace half cap by Glorious Diaz, secured in place by her godmother Dimples Romana.
