Jessy Mendiola had her engagement ring reset.
As an expectant mom, she wants it to be child-friendly.
On Instagram, she thanked the jewelry store for fulfilling her request.
"Now, I won’t have to worry about it getting caught or scratching my little one when he/she becomes a toddler. In the meantime.. back to the safe!," she wrote as caption.
Recall that Jessy's old setting showcases a large, round-cut solitaire along with three smaller diamonds on both sides.
In 2020, the 29-year-old's engagement ring hit headlines after a certain store claimed that they were its"original" creator.
But Jessy's husband, Luis Manzano, reiterated that while the store did help them source the ring's main stone, they had a completely different idea for the setting, as with add-ons, and design.
Jessy and Luis tied the knot via a civil ceremony in February last year.
