Adele shares 'worst moment' of her career so far

Grammy-winning singer Adele revealed that postponing her residency concert in Las Vegas, Nevada was the worst moment in her career.

"It was the worst moment in my career, by far," adele shared, "I was so excited about those shows. It was devastating." The authenticity she craved, however, was just not there. "There was just no soul in it," said Adele, in an interview with Elle Magazine recently.

Adele also mentioned that she went into hiding after calling off the dates of the concert, but later on she shared that she has no regrets about her decision.

Her realization came during her dress rehearsals the night before her concert, the singer cut the mic and sang a cappella to an empty Colosseum.

Despite canceling her concert at the last minute, Adele said that it made her confidence grow in her. "It was a brave thing to do. And I don't think many people would have done what I did."

Last month, the 34-year-old singer officially announced her rescheduled dates for her residency concert "Weekends with Adele" returning with 32 shows. The concert will now run from Nov. 18, 2022 until March 25, 2023.

Adele promised her fans to provide a good show along the way. "I’m going to give you the absolute best of me. Thank you for your patience, I love you Adele," she said.
