Millionaire after millionaire: Another lucky bettor hits Lotto 6/42 jackpot

Another lucky bettor won the jackpot prize in Lotto 6/42 worth P5,940,000 on its Aug. 13 draw two nights after a sole player also hit the game's jackpot amounting to P32,075,959.80.

The winning combination was 26-12-20-24-39-41.

Aside from this, 18 winners got the 2nd prize of P24,000 while 910 bettors for the 3rd prize of P800.

According to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), the Lotto 6/42 winner on its Aug. 11 draw bought the ticket in Santiago City, Isabela.

While the recent millionaire, PCSO said, purchased the ticket in Candelaria, Quezon.

Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, the jackpot prize for Grand Lotto 6/55 worth P68,629,477 is still up for grabs as posted by PCSO on its official website and Facebook account.

PCSO is keen on reminding the public that prizes above P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax pursuant to Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

Also, prizes not claimed within one year after the draw shall be considered forfeited by Republic Act No. 1169, PCSO added.
