Celebs condole with Chito Miranda over father's death

Local stars have sent messages of condolences to Chito Miranda whose father Alfonso Miranda passed on recently.

These celebrities include Chito's former partner, Kaye Abad, Slater Young, Sitti, Jugs Jugueta, and Joross Gamboa.

Gary Valenciano wrote: "Love you Chito. I am so sorry to hear about this. I pray that God embraces you and keeps you close to His heart. My deepest condolences, Chito."

Candy Pangilinan said: "Mahigpit na yakap."

According to the Parokya ni Edgar frontman, he and his family have decided to keep everything "simple" and "intimate."

"Immediate family lang talaga. Hope you guys understand. Prayers lang, oks na," Neri Naig's husband said.

On Instagram, Chito also penned a short and simple message for his father. "Bye, Dad!!! Love you!!!"
