KC Montero on Alex Gonzaga-Matteo Guidicelli 'spat'

KC Montero was only too eager to clear the air relating to the controversy involving his "Tropang LOL (Lunch Out Loud)" co-hosts Alex Gonzaga and Matteo Guidicelli.

On his social media account, KC defended Alex, claiming that it was all just a "prank."

"I feel pretty bad for Alex Gonzaga right now. The video going around right now was a clearly joke. If you could watch the video in its entirety you could see that," he wrote on Twitter.

Then he uploaded the video in its entirety.

"Clearly it was a joke from the beginning. It was a prank but unfortunately some edited the video. Meanwhile Alex Gonzaga is being bashed (for) this," he related.

He added, "They were joking all day long. Like a brother and sister would. But someone uploaded only half of the video and social media went crazy. Obviously that's not what really happened."

Meanwhile, Matteo also explained what happened in an interview with News5.

He said: “There’s a lot of people that say negative things about her (Alex Gonzaga). I just want to clear the air and everything. 'Tropang LOL' is an entertainment show and clips were coming out, naputol siya, without the punchline in the end e… na, ‘Let’s just joke around your toenails, Alex.’”

The issue started after a video of Matteo telling Alex that they should stop talking about exes, out of respect for current partners, went viral.

Many thought he was being serious, going on to gang up on Alex on social media.
