Burgers too satisfying to ignore

There are hundreds if not thousands of dishes all over the globe. Among the most popular ones is the burger. What’s not to like about one of Hamburg, Germany’s greatest contributions to mankind? There’s meat, as well as vegetable, and bread all in a delectable, sloppy bite—that is, depending on the variant. Burgers are also inexpensive, and one can eat them on the go. Burgers are the best.
The past couple of months have been eventful in the local burger scene. Recently released are the Jollibee Chicken Sandwich, which I had just tried and enjoyed quite a lot, and Shake Shack’s Dark Meat Hot Chicken Sandwich, unveiled last July.
The zingy tomato and the vivid leafy green not only enhances the flavor of these sandwiches but make them twice more refreshing. The scientific explanation behind the sandwich’s invigorating effect is the high water concentration of the veggies.
Meanwhile, just this month, McDonald’s released its Fresh ‘N Tasty Burgers, which are some of the fast food chain’s bestselling sandwiches made fresher by adding zesty tomato and lettuce slices. Now with Fresh ‘N Tasty variants are the Burger McDo, Cheesy Burger McDo, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Double Cheeseburger, and Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
I managed to try the Fresh ‘N Tasty versions of the Cheesy Burger McDo as well as the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and the zingy tomato and the vivid leafy green not only enhances the flavor of these sandwiches but make them twice more refreshing. The scientific explanation behind the sandwich’s invigorating effect is the high water concentration of the veggies. They impart another layer of texture too. The already mouthwatering and savory burgers from the fast food restaurant become an even more crave-able treat.
Available in all branches nationwide via dine-in, take-out, and drive-thru.
