Rita Avila rebuts troll over 'Katips' post

A few days ago, actress Rita Avila shared an art card about the musical drama "Katips" receiving seven FAMAS awards.

Later, Rita noticed that a certain netizen reacted to the said post.

It read: "Bakit takot i public yung Comment section HAHHAHA kawawa."

She shared a screenshot of the online user's remark along with her reaction: "Not takot but I do not want angry and evil like comments. Ang tawag doon ay SELF CARE. Kahit anong buti pa ng post ko ay pangit ang nakikita nyo. So bakit ko naman gugustuhin ang comments nyo? Sana ay matagpuan nyo ang tamang pagmamahal, respeto ng iba sa inyo at mga taong gagabay ng mabuti."

She noted: "makakuha sana kayo ng gagabay ng mabuti sa inyo mga anak/kapatid."

Rita also said: "Kindness, understanding and humility for people like you Rod."

Well, one agreed with her, writing: "limit their reach. push back!"

Rita replied, "precisely, kaya nga madalas ako mag off sa comment section anak."

Here's what Rita posted about "Katips:" "I agree, kahit anong daming sides ang kwento, mananatili ang katotohanan."

"Parang tsismis, ang daming bersyon; pero yung pinagtitsismisan pa rin ang may hawak ng katotohanan," she added. "Nasa tao naman kung gustong maniwala sa tsismis. Kaso bihira ang mag-iisip at maghahanap ng katotohanan. Sapat na sa kanila ang naaliw sila sa tsismis at naramdamang mas 'mataas' sila sa taong tinatapakan."

Riya reiterated: "May choice ka naman lagi kung ano ang gusto mong paniwalaan. Ano ba ang gusto mong ipasok sa isipan mo? Ang mga nasulat na sa history books ay nangyari na. Hindi pwedeng palitan. Nangyari na nga eh. Wag magalit. Hindi kita pinipilit. Kung gusto mong mali ang igiit, kaalaman mo’y ikaw ang guguhit."

Then she quoted Didache: “May I fully depend on the truth of who You are (Father God) and not the lies of the world.”
