Over P90M worth of illegal drugs in QC raid, buy-bust

Government anti-narcotics operatives seized almost P88 million worth of ecstasy, cocaine and other illegal drugs in a raid in Cubao, Quezon City on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Police Gen. Rodolfo Azurin, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), said the operation led to the arrest of Riza Bilbao, 25; and Alvin Rapinian, 26.

Also confiscated were shabu and marijuana.

The arrested suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165.

Meanwhile, agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized some P3.4 million worth of shabu following the arrest of two suspectyed drug pushers in a buy-bust in Barangay Bagong Pagasa, Quezon City.

Nabbed were Arjun Fermin, 38; and, Arnan Cerafica, 36.

Aside from the 500 grams of shabu, the PDEA operatives confiscated a mobile phone, several identification cards, a Mitsubishi mirage vehicle and buy-bust money.
