PROUD MOM! Badjao Girl displays baby, partner

Rita Gaviola, a.k.a. Badjao Girl, surprised her fans on social media uploading a photo of her with a baby.

She didn't bother to explain.

She simply captioned the post with several emojis including a baby angel and a heart.

Not long after, Rita shared another picture of her and the baby -- but this time with a man.

"Mahal ko kayo," she wrote.

Many netizens believe the posts are Rita's way of introducing her family to the public.

The comment section was immediately filled with congratulatory messages.

But there were some online users who left unsavory remarks.

The 19-year-old former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate told them: "Sabihan ninyo lang ako masasakit na salita kahit laitin niyo ako okay lang saakin Basta wag ninyo lang idamay ang anak ko tatanggapin ko lahat ng masasakit wag lang anak ko."

Rita reiterated: "Isa lang masasabi ko na proud ako kasi hindi ko pinalaglag ang baby dahil lang sa kasikatan."

Many thought Rita was on her way to carving a niche in showbiz, having joined the “Showtime Sexy Babe” contest early this year.
