PATAFA appoints new secretary general

Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) President Terry Capistrano announced Wednesday, Aug. 10, the appointment of Edward Kho as the association’s new secretary general.

Kho was a former marketing and communications director of PATAFA and is currently an assistant professor of the University of the Philippines College of Human Kinetics in Diliman.

“With the appointment of Mr. Edward Kho as the new SecGen, PATAFA can focus on moving forward to continue all the athletics development programs that have been ongoing over the years,” Capistrano said.

PATAFA is now gearing up for a busy year in 2023 that includes the Southeast Asian Games in May, the Asian Championships in July, World Championships in August, and Asian Games in September.
