Here's Sarah Lahbati's tip for choosing diamond jewelry

Finding the perfect diamond jewelry for every desire

We all heard the saying “a diamond is forever.” While this slogan’s early purpose is for marketing, through the years, it help mold our idea about the precious gem. Diamonds are such iconic status symbols in fashion that they became among the many wardrobe staples women—and even men—must have in their closets. As someone who bought diamond jewelry with her own money during her professional years in acting, Sarah Lahbati knows that it can be hard to decide which one to get. Picking the right one must be a decision you’ve thought through many times as this piece of jewelry is not only expensive but an investment. If it is your first time buying diamond jewelry, the actress dishes out a tip one should keep in mind before making the big purchase.

“My tip in buying diamond jewelry is that select something that is timeless, nothing very trendy or loud,” she tells Manila Bulletin Lifestyle. “Of course, we all have our own personal taste, but I always go for something that is timeless yet makes a statement.”

A testament to her guide, Sarah’s first diamond jewelry purchase is a tennis bracelet from homegrown jewelry brand Tessera. Today, the 28-year-old mom and actress becomes the first ambassador for the brand.

As for Carl’s professional tip on purchasing diamond jewelry, “You can always research about the four Cs of a diamond, but the ultimate test in buying a diamond is that the diamond has to speak to you.”
