Anne Curtis on Cherie Gil: 'Such a beautiful soul'

Anne Curtis is among celebrities both shocked and saddened learning about Cherie Gil’s untimely passing.

Anne told us in a recent interview, “I’m so saddened because she was always such a beautiful soul.”

The two worked several times in the past.

Anne related how she first met Cherie while working on (the TV series) “May Bukas Pa.”

They worked together again in the film “Ika-13 Kapitulo,” and most recently, via “Just a Stranger.”

The actress recalled how Cherie was very much like a mother to her all these years, often offering her sage advice.

“Whenever she would speak to me, it was always like a motherly advice,” she said.
