7 suspects, including a minor, arrested in drug buy-bust in Pasay City

Seven drug suspects, including a 14-year-old girl, were arrested in two buy-bust operations conducted by members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Tuesday, Aug. 9.

Col. Cesar Paday-os, city police chief, identified the suspects as Christian Guina, 44, Alvin Christian Segovia,31 Joshua Golviogo,26, all listed in the drug watch list of the police; Luis Samosa Jr., 29, Evelyn Villagomes,68, Jonalyn Garnaba, and a 14-year-old girl.

Paday-os said members of the SDEU conducted the buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of Guina, Segovia, and Golviogo who were all listed in the police drug watch list around 3 p.m. along Orion St., Barangay 67, Zone 8.

He said confiscated from the three suspects were seven plastic sachets containing about 4.40 grams of shabu worth P29,920.

The city police said that around 5:35 p.m., another buy-bust operation was conducted by the SDEU along St. Mary Luz St., Pasay City that led to the arrest of four other suspects including the 14 year-old girl.

Paday-os said the subject of the buy-bust operation was identified as Sulficio Tolentino III who remains at large.

He said confiscated from the suspects were nine plastic sachets of shabu weighing about 5.20 grams and worth P35,360.

The city police chief said the arrested suspects are now detained at the police custodial facility while the 14 year-old girl was turned over to the City Social Welfare Development office.

Paday-os said the confiscated shabu were turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
