Suzuki unveils all-new muscle scooter: the Avenis

Suzuki Philippines has launched a new scooter to add to its growing lineup of automatic motorcycles — the all-new Avenis. The Avenis is a muscular, sporty scooter featuring sporty, aerodynamic design and fuel efficiency that is affordable and suitable for the modern rider’s active and on-the-go lifestyle. The Avenis is designed as a stylish mode of transport that can also serve as a practical mode of commerce to transport people and commodities.

Muscular and sporty design

The Suzuki Avenis was intended to exude a compelling presence with its muscular and sporty design. It is defined by its sharp and edgy styling while also promoting agile and nimble movement. Among its styling cues are an LED headlight with an integrated air duct, sporty split-type tail lights for better visibility, a 3D emblem for a premium look, an ergonomic and non-slip two-tone seat cover, lightweight grab bar, and lightweight muffler cover with an edgy end cap design. Finally, the meter visor has a three-dimensional shape.

Powered by reliable technology

Powering the Avenis is a four-stroke, single-cylinder, 125cc fuel-injected Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) engine. It gives the best of both worlds: powerful output at optimum fuel efficiency, averaging 54 Km/L fuel economy (based on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle).

Handy features

It sports a full digital instrument panel which provides comprehensive information like: an Eco Drive Indicator, engine temperature, digital clock, fuel gauge, change oil indicator, dual trip meter, fuel consumption, and battery voltage indicator.

The Avenis has a one-liter lidded front glove box that can carry a 0.5-kg load. It also has a USB Charger for convenience. Under the seat is a 21.8-liter compartment with a loading capacity of 10kg. Hooks are placed strategically for baggage with a 1.5-kg capacity for each. The large, ergonomic floorboard with cutaway design makes it easy to step on or off the bike.

Safe and convenient

The All New Suzuki Avenis is designed with the rider’s Safety and Convenience in mind. Bringing it to a stop is a front disc brake with a combined brake system for superior running performance and control.

It also has an external hinge-type fuel cap which makes it convenient for refuelling while also detering theft.

It is equipped with side stand interlock that prevents starting when it is deployed. It also comes with a brake lock system which stops it from rolling when parked. The bike’s integrated engine start and kill switch allows for one push to fire-up the engine and turn it off easily. It also has a one push central locking system.

The all-new Suzuki Avenis comes in three edgy colors: Metallic Matte Black, Pearl Mirage White, and Pearl Blaze Orange. It’s offered at an introductory price of ₱77,900.
