K-pop boy bands Seventeen and ENHYPEN, and girl group Aespa grabbed the first three places in the monthly physical album chart in South Korea.

The three idol groups sold at least one million copies of their new albums in July, according to Hanteo Chart.

In ranking albums, Hanteo Chart now uses the “physical record index,” which incorporates the release price of an album, discarding the original basis of the number of copies sold.

“Hanteo Chart has explained that the album chart ranking is provided in the form of a ‘Physical record index,’ and that this record index is affected by the ‘record release price,’ which is based on the information specified in the new album guide for each album,” according to Twitter account Korean sales.

According to Hanteo Chart’s monthly album chart for July, based on the new physical record index, Seventeen's "Sector 17" took first place with 1,264,868 copies in sales and 1,834,059 in physical record index.

ENHYPEN’s “Manifesto: Day 1” took second place with 1,324,880 copies in sales and 1,589,856 in physical record index.

Even though ENHYPEN sold more album copies, Seventeen took first place because of the physical record index.

Aespa’s “Girls” placed third with 1,294,061 copies sold and 1,423,467 under the index.
