The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) said it has provided some assistance to residents in Barili, Cebu who were affected by typhoid and dengue.
In a statement, the PRC said it distributed “collapsible jerry cans and aquatabs solution to 606 households from Barangays Mantayupan and Gunting in Barili, Cebu this week, in response to rising dengue and typhoid fever cases” in the said areas.
“Prior to the distribution, volunteers and staff of the Red Cross Cebu Chapter disseminated information on safe water storage and proper use of aquatabs solution,” the PRC said.
