Man arrested for selling a stolen motorcycle in Bulacan


Police operatives recovered a stolen motorcycle from a man who sold it for P45,000 in Barangay Guinhawa, City of Mololos, Bulacan on Friday, July 8.

Lt. Col. Ferdinand Germino, Malolos chief of police, said the suspect, Adrian Villoria, 26, of Barangay Sumapang Matanda, Malolos, was arrested in an entrapment operation.

Recovered from the suspect was a Suzuki FU150MF motorcycle owned by Arnold Medina Jr., a resident of Caloocan City.

Medina told police that the motorcycle was stolen in Caloocan City on May 4, 2022.

Police investigation showed that Villoria posted the stolen motorcycle on social media, selling it for P45,000.

Upon seeing Villoria’s post, the motorcycle owner went to Bulacan and sought the help of Malolos police who immediately set up an entrapment operation that led to the suspect's arrest.

Police said the suspect was initially charged for violation of the Anti-fencing Law and, if it would be proven that he stole the motorcycle, another criminal complaint will be filed against him.
