Parañaque City’s active Covid-19 cases climbed to 113 on July 7, the City Health Office (CHO) reported Friday.
The city’s latest count came after seven new infections were added to the 106 cases listed on July 6.
Since the start of the pandemic, the city has recorded a total of 51,698 confirmed cases and 795 deaths.
The two villages with zero Covid-19 cases are Barangay La Huerta and Barangay Sto. Nino.
Five communities in the city with high record of active cases are Barangays BF Homes with 21 active cases; Don Bosco and San Antonio, with 15 cases each; and San Isidro and Merville with 13 cases each.
The city health office said it could not determine yet if the sudden increase of Covid-19 cases in the city is due to Omicron subvariants.
