LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Milk products and cash amounting to almost P20,000 were reportedly taken from two drugstores on Old Maharlika Highway in Barangay Isabang here Thursday, July 7.
The Generics Pharmacy, represented by Sheyne Mansilungan, 28, health care provider, and Dau Pharmacy, represented by Denise Lorenz Umali, 28, reported to the police here that their drugstores were robbed and the unidentified suspects gained entry by destroying the padlocks of the rollup doors.
The robberies were discovered when they were about to open Thursday morning.
According to Masilungan, milk products and cash sales amounting to P10,678.13 were taken away. The Dau Pharmacy, Umali said, lost P8,800 cash sales and the CCTV hard drive in which the suspects could have been identified was carted away.
Police said the robberies could have happened between 7 p.m. July 6 to 8 a.m. July 7.
Police here have accessed closed-circuit television cameras near the two drugstores for possible identification of the suspects.
