Over P400K worth of 'shabu' seized from 2 women in Caloocan buy-bust

Police arrested two women in a buy-bust operation that also yielded more than P400,000 worth of alleged shabu in Caloocan City on Wednesday, July 6.

The Northern Police District (DPD) Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) said that suspects Analyn Salibio, 50; and Marynol Garcia, 24; both from Meycauayan, Bulacan, were arrested at around 11:45 p.m.

Operatives of the DDEU conducted the entrapment operation along Bagumbong Road, Brgy. 171, in Caloocan, which led to the confiscation of three transparent sachets containing the alleged shabu, and the buy-bust money.

The recovered sachets of "shabu" weighed around 67 grams and were valued at P455,600, police said.

Salibio and Garcia will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the "Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002."
