'Of art and wine: Figures & forms' a private collection showcase

Conrad Manila gathers works from renowned contemporary artists at Gallery C

They say collectors have a more profound and pronounced taste when it comes to art pieces. Imagine, then, what a how wonderful an exhibit would be if the pieces featured are curated from private collections?

That’s what you get at “Of art and wine: Figures & forms,” an ongoing exhibit at Gallery C of Conrad Manila. This show gathers the works of 21 renowned Filipino contemporary artists including from two National Artists—BenCab’s “Nude 1” (2007) and Cesar Legaspi’s 1982 piece of the same name. There are also pieces from Khristina Manansala, Kublai Millan, and Melissa Yeung.

The exhibit highlights the immense possibilities of masterful cultural representation through figures and forms, and colors and shapes. It showcases a polarity of subject matters and messages reinforced by the distinguishable techniques used by each of the artists.

With more than 40 pieces in exhibition, all of these are for sale until Aug. 27, 2022 in partnership with The Artisan Cellars. “Of art and wine: Figures & forms” is open for viewing by the public.
