The Special Operations Unit-6 of the Philippine National Police- Drug Enforcement Group identified the suspect as Christine Dacumos of Barangay 2 here.
Police Lt. Col. Arnel Solis, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas (Region 6) spokesperson, said police received information a few weeks ago regarding Dacumos’ alleged involvement in the illegal drugs trade.
Solis said that a case surveillance was conducted to confirm the report until it led to the operation.
The operation was conducted in coordination with the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit-6, Regional Special Operations Group-6, and the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit.
With the huge volume of illegal drugs recovered, police said Dacumos can be considered a high value individual.
