Woman, lover found dead in Camarines Sur after heated argument


CAMP OLA, Albay – A woman and her live-in partner were found dead following a heated argument Tuesday, July 5, inside their bedroom in their residence in Barangay San Roque, Calabanga, Camarines Sur.

Police Major Malu Calubaquib, Police Regional Office (PRO)-5 spokesperson, identified the victims as Shiela, 44, and Noel, 35.

The victims were sprawled lifeless in their bedroom when discovered by responding policemen.

Calubaquib said that Shiela sustained a strangulation mark on her neck while Noel had a slash wound in his neck.

Prior to the discovery of the victims’ bodies, Noel’s father requested for assistance from Calabanga Municipal Police Station (MPS) regarding the heated argument and commotion between the two victims.

“Upon arrival at the residence of the victims, the door of the live-in partners’ bedroom was locked and when responding police opened it, they discovered the victims were already dead. Immediately, Calabanga MPS sought the assistance of the Scene-of-the-Crime Operatives (SOCO),” Calubaquib said.

During initial examination of the bodies, probers found a strangulation mark from an electrical cord in the neck of Shiela and a slash wound in the neck of Noel.

Police recovered a kitchen knife with blood stains near the body of Shiela, according to Calubaquib.
