4 drug pushers nabbed in Laguna buy-bust

LAGUNA – Police arrested four suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation Tuesday, July 5, in Barangay Pansol, Calamba City, this province.

Suspects were identified as Santy Mapa Tarog, 27; and Benjo Bas Malana Jr., both construction workers; and John Lorenz Dimaguila, 27, and Jomay Gatioan, 20, resort pool agents and all residents of Calamba City.

They are all in the drug watchlist as street level individuals, police said.

Eleven sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weigh of 2.1 grams were seized from the suspects.

The suspects were arrested after the Calamba City police received information from concerned citizens about their rampant illegal drug activities in the barangay.

The suspects are in the custody of the Calamba City police and will be charged for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
