Over P1-M worth of shabu seized in QC buy bust

Government anti-narcotics operatives seized more than P1 million worth of shabu following the arrest of a suspected drug pusher in a buy bust operation Quezon City.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) spokesperson Derrick Carreon said the suspect Richard Allan Mirasol De Asis, 40, carpenter of Barangay Bayanan Purok 3 Muntinlupa City was collared at around 8:32 p.m., on Monday, July 4, inside the Quezon Memorial Circle in Barangay Central.

He said they confiscated 1,000 grams of suspected shabu, 11 bundles of boodle money with one P1,000 bill on top, one Oppo android phone, a driver’s license, green Chinese tea bag, brown paper bag and Ford Lynx vehicle with license plate XPB 817.

De Asis faces charges for violation of Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165.
