Beauty abounds in our island country, and Manila Broadcasting Company continues to celebrate inspiring , talented, and beautiful Filipinas via the search for Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen, now on its third year.

With Agusan del Norte and Cebu having fielded winners the past two years in Jannarie Zarzoso of Cabadbaran and Shanyl Kayle Hofer of Minglanilla, the country’s biggest broadcasting network is again looking for a confident, independent-minded woman who pursues her dreams to the best of her abilities... who cares for her family and ultimately works to help others.

She must be a symbol of Filipino beauty and culture in the modern world, and should epitomize the country's resiliency and fighting spirit, as she will be crowned in the midst of the pandemic. And of course, she must be digital-savvy, a positive influence, and can represent the new generation of Filipinos who will play important roles in our country's future.

The contest is open to ladies 16-28 years old, single, with pleasing personality, must have been born biologically female, and currently holding Filipino citizenship. Candidates should be well-versed in the culture, customs, and traditions of their respective regions.

Each lady must be able to demonstrate a unique talent to a high degree of excellence, either in the visual or performing arts, craft or design, athletics, or culinary expertise. She should be a natural beauty, armed with poise and confidence, and able to express herself well in either English or Pilipino.

Those interested should download and fill up the registration form posted on aliwanfiesta.com or the official Facebook page of Aliwan Fiesta, and email this to the carrier station in her region, together with a barangay certification, and a three-minute video, where the candidate introduces herself, where she comes from, and provides a glimpse of what she looks like in casual and formal wear, as well as her talent or special skill. Deadline for submission of entries is on Aug. 17.
