Man pinned by cement truck in Muntinlupa

A man was injured when he was pinned by a cement truck in Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa on July 5.

Tez Navarro of the Muntinlupa Public Information Office said based on information from the city government’s operations center, the man was identified as Ronald de Guzman, 29.

According to the Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management (MCDDRM), De Guzman was fixing electrical cable along Umali Street at about 8 a.m. when the truck turned to its side after a part of the road gave way.

The Barangay 207 Rescue and DDRM Rescue-EMS responded to the incident and gave first aid to the victim who suffered injury to the left side of his body.

Navarro said the victim was taken to the Medical Center Muntinlupa for treatment.
