Marcos will deal with pressing issues before the media himself - Angeles
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. will directly deal with pressing issues himself before the media, his press secretary said.

It is, however, not certain whether handling media briefings by the President personally will be a regular activity or not, Communications Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles said on Monday, July 4.
"That will be up to him (Marcos)," Angeles said in a press briefing when asked how often the media get to speak with the President.
"I think it will be in relation to whether there is a pressing issue that he would like to bring to the media directly. So it will be on those occasions," she added.
The Press Secretary further said that it is still not determined if meeting the media to address certain issues will be monthly.
"We cannot say yet if it’s going to be a monthly thing or anything with that kind of regularity. It will really depend on the situation," Angeles said.
Prior to his inauguration as the 17th Philippine President, Marcos said he will not designate anyone to be his spokesperson as there will be issues that he would like to deal with himself.
