PH Red Cross' Mandaluyong 'bakuna' center opens second booster shots for 50 to 59-year-olds, with comorbidities
The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) announced on Sunday, July 31, that its "bakuna" center in Mandaluyong City is now open for administering Covid-19 second booster shots for 50 to 59-year-olds and adults with comorbidities.

People in the said age bracket and under the A3 category or those with comorbidities who got their first booster shot four months ago or earlier may walk in at the PRC "bakuna" center at Apo St. corner Pinatubo St., Barangka Ilaya, Mandaluyong City.
It is open from Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Interested individuals need to present a valid ID and a vaccination card of their first and second dose and first booster, according to PRC.
Persons with comorbidities do not need to bring a medical certificate, PRC added. They just have to present a vaccination card where their A3 category is indicated.
PRC screeners or doctors at the vaccination center can also assess them accordingly.
"And second booster ay para sa mas malakas na proteksyon laban sa Covid virus. Kapag tayo ay protektado, mababa ang tsansa na mahawa, at di rin tayo makakahawa. Tumulong tayo na ma-protektahan din ang ating pamilya at mga kaibigan sa pamamagitan ng pagkuha ng second booster shot (The second booster is for a stronger protection against Covid-19 virus. If we are protected, the chances of contacting and spreading it is lesser. Let us help in protecting our family and friends by getting a second booster shot)," PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon reminded.
As of July 31, PRC has administered 1,215,957 doses of Covid-19 vaccines and boosters, of which 110,334 are boosters.
It has fully vaccinated 375,802 individuals.
