Lady cop hurt in motorcycle crash in Pangasinan

BANI, Pangasinan – A policewoman was injured when her motorcycle crashed on the national highway in Barangay Poblacion here Sunday, July 31.

A report from the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office said the victim, Police Corporal Marife Aquino, assigned to the Bolinao, Pangasinan Police Station, became sleepy while driving her motorcycle on her way home from work.

She lost control of her motorcycle and rammed the right shoulder drainage on the road.

Aquino injured her right foot. Her motorcycle incurred damages with still undetermined cost of repair.

Police reminded motorists to be careful on the road and if feeling sleepy, pull over and rest for a few minutes.
