The booster shot ramp up is in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. that on or before the end of his first 100 days in office on October 8, there is 90 percent coverage for the primary series of 85 percent of the senior citizens and a 50 percent coverage of the first booster of 70 percent of the general population.
