Gretchen Ho reacts to murder of Ateneo gunman's father
TV personality Gretchen Ho couldn't help but share her two cents about finding out that the 69-year-old retired policeman father of the Ateneo murder suspect was shot dead outside his house in Lamitan City, Basilan, recently.
On Twitter, the former volleyball player wrote: "Violence begets violence."
She added, "Two wrongs don’t make a right."
"The cycle of hate just continues and wounds deepen. None of it is justifiable," she reiterated.
Roland “Bobong” Yumol, father of Dr. Chao Tiao Yumol, who allegedly shot dead former Lamitan Mayor Rose Furigay, his executive assistant Victor Capistrano, and security guard Jeneven Bandiola at the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City last Sunday, was reportedly on his motorcycle when shot by one of two suspects still at large.
Gretchen played collegiate volleyball for the Ateneo Lady Eagles from 2008 to 2013.
