Bulacan Gov. Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Gov. Alexis C. Castro recognized on Saturday, July 30, the heroic deeds of the ‘life savers’ in the province during the observance of the “Blood Donors Month”.
Fernando thanked all the donors who consistently donated blood to save lives, including members of Bulacan PNP, Guardians, Philippine Army, health volunteers and frontliners during a program marking the “Blood Donors Month” held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in the City of Malolos.
The program was organized by the Provincial Health Office.
Castro, for his part, said that the observance was meant to give great respect to the volunteers and to encourage more citizens to donate blood when more blood is required.
He said blood is the most precious gift that anybody can provide to other people as it can save the soul and breath of a human being.
