After brother's engagement, Ria Atayde welcomes Maine Mendoza to their family

Actress Ria Atayde is among those happy for her brother, actor-turned-politician Arjo Atayde, who got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, actress Maine Mendoza.

In fact, the supportive sister shared a photo of her with her brother and their other siblings Gela, and Xavi.

"And Just like that...," her caption read.

Then in another post wrote: "...we gained a new sister" along with a picture of them with Maine.

Ria congratulated the couple.

She also reposted Maine's Instagram post where the latter announced her engagement.

Ria said: "I mean??!!?! My heart!!! What a beautiful day!"

The Kapamilya star also sent Arjo a message.

"You’ve always been Mister Grand Gestures @arjoatayde. But I think among all you’ve done, this has got to be my most favorite. And I think among all the many changes we welcomed in our lives this year, this has got to be the best," she said.

"So excited to officially welcome you into the family @mainedcm. Stay happy and in love! Congratulations to the two of you," she added.

Ria and Arjo are the children of veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez.

Meanwhile, Sylvia also penned a heartwarming message for Maine.

It read: "He asked Her and She said, YES!!! Finally, Welcome to the family, Maine. Thank you for loving my Son. Love you Nak."

The veteran star promises that she will take care and love Maine.
