Voter registration resumes Monday

Those who wish to register for the Dec 5, 2022, Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) may start doing so this week.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has earlier set the resumption of the continuing voter registration from July 4 to 23.

In a Facebook post, the poll body said for in-person filing of application, go to the Office of the Election Officer in your district/city/munipality.

Applications will be accepted Mondays to Saturdays (including holidays) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Online filing of application for reactivation, on the other hand, will be from July 4 to 19.

"Send to the official e-mail address ofthe OEO in your locality," the Comelec said.

"Does not include applications for reactivation with transfer outside of the locality where the voter intends to transfer to," it added.

The Comelec earlier said that the projected total number of registered voters for Barangay Elections is 66,053,357.

As for the Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, the projected total number of registered voters is 23,059,227.
