Ninety-two gallons of potable water were brought by the PCG to quake victims in Barangay Oribi and Barangay Damay on Thursday, July 28.

“According to the MDRRMO of Santa, they will continue to distribute potable water to the affected families until the regular supply of drinking water resumes in the said barangays,” the PCG disclosed.

The operation was augmented by members of the PCG Auxilliary’s 702nd Elite Rescue Unit.

The powerful earthquake last Wednesday disrupted water and power lines in the affected areas, particularly in its epicenter in Abra in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and in various provinces in Ilocos (Region 1).
