Bulacan police seize over P1.1-M shabu, arrest 17 drug peddlers


Police seized more than P1.1 million worth of shabu and arrested 17 drug personalities in a series of anti-drugs operations in the province of Bulacan on Friday, July 29.

Col. Charlie A. Cabradilla, acting Bulacan police director, said a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of Marilao Police and the Police Drug Enforcement Group Special Operation Unit (PDEG SOU3) resulted in the seizure of 160 grams of shabu worth P1,088,000 in Barangay Ibayo, Marilao, Bulacan.

Arrested during the operation were Mark Kamsa, 27, a security guard, of Baseco Compound, Manila; and Jonathan Adona, 36, an electrician, of Barangay Lias, Marilao.

Likewise, a series of entrapments by the anti-narcotics units of Malolos City, Paombong, Calumpit, Baliwag, Norzagaray, and Marilao Police and PDEG SOU3 led to the arrest of 15 drug suspects.

The suspects were identified as Delfin dela Cruz Jr. alias Odoy, Victoria Felipe alias ene, Reynold dela Cruz alias Beno, Erick Glodo, Wimpy Bal Dilao, Mandy Garcia, Jejomar Supan alias Bikoy, Jonathan Ocado aliasTan, Gilbert Buenaventura, Joseph Geronimo, Christian Rivera, Arnold Joson, Mamerto Nobe Jr., Florencio Santiago Jr., and Rowena Santiago.

Police said they recovered 44 sachets of suspected shabu with a market value of P111,096, drug paraphernalia, and buy- bust money.
