2 drug pushers fall in Quezon sting

CANDELARIA, Quezon – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized almost P500,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bukal here Friday, July 29.

The suspects were identified as Trisha Gentiles, 38, and Jamie Ciga Escuadra, 60, both of Antipolo City.

Local police and the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations Unit-National Capital Region (PDEG-SOU-NCR) arrested the suspects at 9 a.m. after they sold suspected shabu to a police-poseur buyer at the bypass road here.

Seized from them were shabu weighing 21.66 grams valued at P441,864 and the buy-bust money.

Suspects are under the custody of the police here. They are slated to face drug-related charges.
