The Navotas City government also started the vaccinations on Thursday. It said that the adult residents can walk in at all the city's inoculation sites to get their booster shots.

Meanwhile, the vaccinations in the cities of Caloocan and Malabon began on Wednesday, July 27.

Caloocan residents can visit any of the city's vaccination sites, while two sites -- Robinsons Town Mall and Philippine Red Cross "bakuna center" in Barangay Potrero -- are open in Malabon for the second booster shots.

According to the Department of Health's guidelines released on Tuesday, July 26, the second booster doses can only be administered to individuals who have received their first booster shots four months prior to their vaccination day.

Recipients should also present their vaccination cards and valid identification cards. Medical certificates are not required even for individuals with comorbidities.
