'Not affected?': Sandro exudes all business vibe in FB post

Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos doesn't seem to be affected by all the outside noise regarding his recent designation as House senior deputy majority leader.

This can be gleaned from Marcos's Facebook post Thursday, July 28, where he exuded a hard-at-work and all business attitude.

"Straight to work! Floor duties yesterday as Senior Dep. Majority Leader. Thank you to those who unanimously voted and put their faith in me. Rest assured we will work our hardest to make this the most productive congress!" he wrote.

The presidential son's upload came with a picture of him speaking confidently on the podium in the House plenary. Majority leader and Zamboanga City 2nd district Rep Mannix Dalipe can be seen over his right shoulder.

The House leadership's decision to make rookie legislator Marcos a senior deputy majority leader has been assailed by some sectors.

Marcos's 19th Congress colleagues, PBA Party-list Rep. Migs Nograles and Camarines Sur 2nd district Rep. LRay Villafuerte, have since spoken in defense of the popular Ilocano congressman.

Marcos, 28, is the eldest son of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
