Las Piñas LGU supports National Blood Donors' month

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar called on city residents to join the blood donation activity to be held at Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) building in Talon Dos on Saturday, July 30.

Aguilar said the activity will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in celebration of National Blood Donors' month.

She said the activity to be led by the City Health Office (CHO). Those who want to donate blood may call 09054716536 and 09177954001.

The mayor said the program, called “Dugong Inaalay, Karugtong ng Buhay,” is aimed at collecting blood for the city to have enough supply for medical emergencies.

Aguilar said donating blood is an act of solidarity and also saves lives.
