The Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) ranked the Las Piñas City government No. 2 among Metro Manila cities in compliance with the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced that the city government got a 98.4 percent compliance in health, education, deworming categories, and family development sessions.
Aguilar said garnering the 98.4 percent on the said categories was made possible by the hard work of the members of the City Social Welfare and Development Office, CityLinks, and Social Welfare assistants.
She said the city government ranked 13th among other local government units in the NCR in recent years.
The mayor said the City Health Office (CHO), Department Education-(DepEd) Las Piñas, and Local Development Council helped a lot in making programs for 4Ps the priority.
Aguilar said the compliance with programs for 4Ps was also part of her administration's “Tuloy ang Tapat at Progresibong Serbisyo.”
She said the city government ranked 2nd during the Local Advisory Council meeting of the DSWD-NCR.
