"So hindi mo na kailangang i-filter pa yung messaging. So kung anong problema sa House makakarating agad kay Presidente. So mas mapapabilis po ang legislative mill (So you no longer have to filter the messaging. Whatever problem we encounter in the House, the President will know immediately. So the legislative mill will run faster)," explained the Committee on Ways and Means chairman.
Salceda likened Rep. Marcos's role to that of Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Bong Go during the previous Duterte administration. Go is now a senator.
"I would say that, equivalent of SAP Go . Pero para sa akin (But for me) it’s good for congress para yung (so that) our concerns are immediately brought to the attention of the executive," he said.
