'Thoughtful' Sandro greets INC on 108th anniversary; FB commenters gush

Senior deputy majority leader and Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos took to his Facebook Wednesday, July 27, to greet members of influential religious sect Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) on the group's anniversary.

"Happy 108th Anniversary, Iglesia ni Cristo! " wrote the presidential son on his post, which came with a social media card featuring a temple of the INC.

Marcos's post garnered nearly 30,000 hearts and likes in just an hour's time.

Just as positive were the post's commenters, who gushed over the 28-year-old congressman's thoughtfulness. Here are some of them:

"Happy anniversary sa ating lhat na member ng Inc at salamat cong Sandro sa pagbati d kau nka limot... (Happy anniversary to all of us members of INC and thanks Cong Sandro for the greeting, you didn't forget us)," wrote Domna Villorente.

"Thank you so much Cong.Sandro for the greetings and well wishes," Imelda Aonan said.

Jezarish Jesim Initan's response to Marcos's anniversary greeting was perhaps the sweetest of all: "Thank you love."


"Thank you so much, our kind & energetic Cong Sandro Marcos! God bless you po.." wrote Facebook user An Nie.


"Maraming salamat cong (Thank you very much cong). Gob bless you always and keep safe," said commenter Rd P. Marciano.
