Pasay City areas to experience power service interruption

The Pasay City government announced that residents along D. Jorge and Valerio Streets near M. dela Cruz Street will experience power service interruption on July 27 from 4-9 p.m.

The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) will conduct replacement of facilities along D. Jorge St. according to the advisory posted on Facebook by the Public Information Office.

The areas that will be affected by the power service interruption are portions of circuit Malibay 43VJ along D. Jorge and Valerio St., near M. dela Cruz (TLN 034032).

Other areas in the city will also experience six-hour power outage from July 27 to July 28 from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. due to the relocation of facilities and line reconductoring works affected by the EDSA-NAIAX (Philippine NAIA Expressway) project construction along Andrews Avenue.

The NAIAX project is an 8-kilometer toll road providing direct access to the country’s premier airport -- the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Areas to be affected are portions of circuit at NAIA 3 413VX along Andrews Avenue from Pag-asa Street including Philippine Airline Inc. (PAL) Ground Equipment Maintenance Division and DHL Express- Manila Gateway.

The other areas to be affected by the power outage are portions of Andrews Avenue and Airport Drive from BAC One Eleven Drive, including UCPB Baclaran Branch and Manila Airport Authority Flood Control and Pumping Station.

The city government advised residents to make appropriate preparation before the power service interruption.
